In Years 7 and 8, students study Global Perspectives as a combined subject, building strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and critical analysis alongside history, geography, and key concepts such as evidence and societal change. This integrated approach helps students see the connections between how we communicate and how the world works.
From Year 9, Global Perspectives continues as two distinct subjects, English and Humanities, allowing students to build deeper knowledge in each area. In English, students strengthen their skills in text analysis, creative and critical writing, and communication across a range of texts and contexts. In Humanities, students explore historical depth studies, civics, business, and geography, with topics such as the Industrial Revolution and World War One in Year 9, and Exploring Identities and Futures, Shark Tank eSchool, and Geography in Year 10.
At SACE level, students choose from a range of specialised subjects to suit their interests and future pathways, including English Literary Studies, General English, and Essential English, alongside Research Practices, Business Innovation, Society and Culture, Modern History, Tourism, and Workplace Practices.
Throughout the program, students are supported by a dedicated team of staff and given opportunities to connect their learning to real-world contexts, helping them think critically about the world and the choices ahead of them.
