💗 PINK DAY IS COMING – FRIDAY 19TH JUNE! 💗
CHS is getting behind Pink Day to support The Menstrual Movement and raise much-needed donations for Share the Dignity!
Period poverty is closer to home than many realise – right here in our own community, students, families and locals are affected by the cost of period products. 64% of women who menstruate have struggled to afford these basic necessities at some point. By donating, you’re helping make sure no one in our community has to go without.
What you can do:
💗 Wear pink – as much or as little as you feel comfortable!
💗 Bring along an unopened period product (pads, liners, tampons, period undies) to donate
💗 OR pop in a gold coin donation and grab yourself a cupcake! 🧁
📍 We’ll be set up near the canteen – come say hi, donate, and grab a treat.
A separate donation box will also be located in the front office, where individual sanitary products can be donated at any time throughout the day.
All donated products will go straight into our girls’ toilets, so they’re easily accessible to any student who needs them.
