Year 11 & 12
Clare High School’s Senior Secondary program provides students with a supportive environment that assists students to excel and achieve their SACE certificate in a high expectation environment.
Students are given the opportunity to complete their SACE compulsories, English, Maths and Research Project in Year 11, which will allow students flexibility in the subjects they can select in Year 12.
Students are supported by a team of staff who work together to ensure academic success and student wellbeing is monitored.
Students have the opportunity to engage in alternate pathways to completing their SACE, including access to Vocational and Education Training opportunities, along with enrolment in courses provided through Open Access – popular examples being Psychology and Legal Studies.
Students are also encouraged to participate in many extra-curricula activities, including Arts opportunities, International Education Experiences and Knock Out Sport events.
To support their learning, students enrolled in Outdoor Education, Tourism and Physical Education subjects can expect to attend subject specific camps during the year.
The Futures Planning Handbook has further information about the curriculum and course offerings for all students.
