At Clare High School, the Humanities curriculum spans from Year 7 to 12, offering a comprehensive exploration of history, geography, civics, citizenship, economics, and business.
In Year 7 and 8, students delve into ancient and modern history, geography, and key concepts such as evidence and societal change.
Year 9 students focus on historical depth studies, including the Industrial Revolution and World War One, and explore business and civics topics. By Year 10, the curriculum introduces specialized subjects like Exploring Identities and Futures, Shark Tank eSchool, and Geography, while providing a deeper dive into modern history, global conflicts, and business innovation.
In the senior years (Stage 1 and 2), students engage in more advanced and specialized studies such as Research Practices, Business Innovation, Society and Culture, Modern History, Tourism, and Workplace Practices, preparing them for complex real-world issues and career pathways.
