Clare High School offers a well-rounded curriculum in Technology and Home Economics from Years 7 to 12, ensuring a balanced education in both practical and technical disciplines.
In Years 7 to 9, students engage in foundational Design and Technology projects, including engineering principles, network systems, programming, and hands-on construction, with Year 9 delving into advanced topics like Woodwork/Sheetmetal and CAD/CNC Machining.
In addition to these technological pursuits, Home Economics plays a crucial role throughout the curriculum. Students learn essential life skills through practical courses in cooking, nutrition, and textiles, which are integrated from Years 7 to 12. This includes meal preparation, garment construction, and broader life skills, complementing the technical skills gained in Technology subjects.
