LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT – TERM 1, 2025

Term 1 at Clare High School has been a vibrant and energising start to the 2025 academic year. Our school community has embraced a wide range of opportunities—from academic pursuits and co-curricular activities to cultural events and community engagement. It has been incredibly rewarding to see our students grow in confidence, develop new skills, and demonstrate strong values across all areas of school life.
A clear focus on goal setting, learning routines, and high expectations has set a strong academic tone for the year. Our Junior Secondary students have engaged with innovative STEM learning, while Senior Secondary students continue to explore diverse pathways through VET, SACE, and personalised learning programs. Across all year levels, the commitment of our educators to delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching has supported every student to strive for their best.
Highlights of the term include the reflective and powerful Rite Journey sunrise ceremony, the excitement and house spirit of Swimming Carnival and Athletics Day, and the energy and connection built through the Year 7 Camp. Our student leaders engaged thoughtfully at the GRIP Student Representative Council Leadership Conference, while senior students explored future career pathways through the HMAS Cerberus Work Experience Camp with the Royal Australian Navy. A visit from the Adelaide Holocaust Museum offered valuable historical insight and reflection. These experiences enrich student learning and are a testament to the courage, leadership, and enthusiasm our young people bring to school each day.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our teaching and support staff for their passion, care, and professionalism, and to our families for your continued partnership in your child’s education. Together, we are building a connected, future-focused school community—and we look forward to all that Term 2 will bring.

COMMUNITY CONNECTION BBQ – A HEARTFELT THANK YOU

Each Friday at Clare High School, our Community Connection BBQ brings students together over a shared meal—free of charge and full of meaning. More than just food, these barbecues create a welcoming space where every student feels included and supported. At a time when many families face increasing challenges, this initiative ensures that no student goes without a meal or a moment of connection.
This important program would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our local community. Whether through donations, volunteering time, or sponsoring a week, your support helps us remove barriers and foster a sense of belonging for all students.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors for Term 1:

Your contributions are making a real and lasting difference.
