Clare High School SACE & SACE Flexibilities

Achieving your SACE
How to build 200 credits

Here’s a short video from South Australian Certificate of Education (sace.sa.edu.au) on how the SACE works and how students can achieve the necessary requirements through subjects, VET and other recognised learning:

At Clare High School, the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) offers a flexible and internationally recognized qualification designed to prepare students for future academic and career opportunities.

The SACE framework includes compulsory components, such as literacy and numeracy requirements and core subjects like Exploring Identities & Futures and Activating Identities & Futures. Students can choose from a diverse range of Stage 1 and Stage 2 subjects, vocational education and training (VET) courses, and community learning to accumulate the necessary 200 credits for completion.

Modified SACE subjects are available for students with specific learning needs, tailored to provide personalized support and achieve their educational goals. The program emphasizes a blend of theoretical and practical assessments, including performance tasks and exams, to demonstrate students’ skills and capabilities throughout their studies.
