Content: This course focuses on familiarising students with the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. There is an emphasis on producing artworks that students can take away with them at the end of the course. Students explore ideas and experiences through creating works of art and use skills, techniques and processes to develop and present artwork. They respond to and evaluate their own work, and the work of others, in a range of contexts.
Assessment: Students are assessed using the Australian Curriculum Achievement Standards.
